UNGA, a marathon

High-level week at the United Nations in New York, requiring high levels of energy.

UNGA, a marathon

"This week is set up like a marathon," someone said to me while pouring a coffee after an event on Wednesday morning.

It's just two days into the general debate at high-level week of the UN General Assembly, and several days into a swell of events around the city.

Climate week. Humanitarian discussions. Multiple conferences. Sideline meetings. Roadblocks. Security. Snacks. Lanyards. Coffee. Water. Notes. So on, so on.

And I'm feeling the marathon. I hopped on a subway train this morning for a 12+ hour day (literally and figuratively) running around in east Midtown for lots of learning on all things humanitarian subjects.

These posts through each mile of this run are for paid members (thank you!) and you should also become a paid member for a look into this chaotic week.
